Follow Friday (4)

image

Q. What do I do when I are not reading?

A. Well, this is definitely a hard one.  I work fulltime, commute 1.5 hours per day, am a husband and father.  There’s always, ALWAYS a load of laundry that needs to be washed, dried, and folded, a kid that needs to be comforted or held…So, what do I do when I’m not reading…A LOT!!! :)

What do you do?

Many Adventures,

Richard

  4. New follower here. I used to have that kind of commute. In many ways, I miss the job, but then I remember the work place politics and I feel better. Happy hopping!

Just hopping by and following through.
My husband does the laundry (mainly) in my house as well - with the six of us we do about 7 loads every weekend

  18. New follower here for the hop.
I can understand the feeling. I also work full-time, I am married and have three boys. people often wonder how I find time to read...

  19. I wish I could find a job! But since I'm still tipping the scale to "young teenager," I really don't think that it's going to happen anytime soon! x)

I actually love doing the laundry, though! Out of all the chores I have to do, that one is my favourite (my least being doing the dishes).

Reading is the coolest thing ever ;)

Hope you have an awesome weekend!

  20. I am about to start a job with a longer commute. I am hoping that I can figure out a way to take public transportation which could give me more time to read (which seems so much better than driving I think). :)

  22. thanks for all the comments!

@bookdout: i try to do 1 load a day, wash and dry.

@lina: i don't wish for 8 days/week! that would just be one more day i'd have to work! lol...unless it was a mandatory vacation day!

    @nikki & @shanan: audiobooks rule the commute!

@liza: i know how you feel...fitting in reading is a must! usually after everything else is done and the kids are in bed!

@mimi: i hate doing dishes! even after we got a dishwasher i still hate it!

@shana: nice to meet you, too!
