Thirteen Reasons Why is a good book. However, I thought there was too much blame placed on the outside when there was so much hurt on the inside. Now I need to look into these other books you picked up. Happy reading!

I just saw Texas Gothic on Rebeccas video so I looked it up on Goodreads. Hurry up and read it and let us know what you think. I want to decide on that one.
ReplyDeleteI bought 13 Reasons Why at a library sale for $1. I was excited because the library copy was stolen and not replaced. Like, really excited, because I've been wanting to read this for a long time. Then I wondered... why on earth didn't they just keep that copy as a replacement for the stolen copy? Sometimes I just don't understand people. At any rate, I don't know when I'll get to it, but since you've already read it I'm sure I'll read your thoughts before I can read it for myself.
The cover for All the Pretty Girls is REALLY COOL so I looked at it but it is one of those crime books and try as I might, I just cannot get into them. Seriously, I've given them a good go. I've maybe read one or two that I liked, mostly indies, but I just don't love them as a whole. But that cover is really cool.
I got Starboard Sea, too, in the mail. Funny how within two or three weeks we got a couple of the same books.
So yay for your book haul. ;) Good stuff and I'm waiting on you to tell me if I want to read some of it.
